NHS Scotland invites applications for an Occupational Therapy Assistant Practitioner to join the Assistive Technology Service at the SMART Centre, Astley Ainslie Hospital, Edinburgh.

The post holder will be allocated a delegated patient caseload by a qualified AHP and will assess the patient’s needs relating to equipment for daily living, working independently within the DLC and supporting staff with advice on equipment and services.

• Allocated a delegated patient caseload by the qualified AHP.
• Assess the patient’s needs in relation to equipment for daily living.
• Provide advice and information in person or by telephone regarding equipment and services.
• Contribute to developing the DLC service and participate in transformational changes within the Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership.
