The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is seeking an Orthotics Support Practitioner to assist orthotists in providing a service to clients requiring orthotic treatment. You will work with supervision from the Senior Orthotists team and the Consultant Orthotist.
The post holder will undertake the activities listed in the job description, manage a portion of their own workload within a broad framework, and uphold NHS standards of safety, quality and patient care.

Any direct work undertaken by the Orthotics Support Practitioner will be part of a total treatment plan devised by the Orthotist.
The Orthotics Support Practitioner will undertake the specified activities listed in the job description and will take some responsibility for his or her own workload, within a broad framework laid down by the Orthotists.
The post holder will uphold the fundamental standards of safety and quality, always putting the clients first and protecting them from harm.

The Orthotist is responsible for the Orthotics Support Practitioner Practitioner’s work and the welfare of clients.
To work with supervision and support from the Senior Orthotists team and the Consultant Orthotist/Orthotics Service Manager, providing a supportive role to the orthotist team.
