Job summary

Wirral University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is recruiting a Clinical Support Worker to join the Orthopaedics service. You will work in two acute environments, supporting patients with personal and clinical care in trauma and elective orthopaedics, and contribute to ward routines.

The role offers opportunities to develop skills, including maintaining records, assisting with transfers, and collaborating with the nursing team. A Level 3 qualification and NHS experience are desirable.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent
• Experience in a clinical environment with relevant skills
• Experience working in NHS

Responsibilities

• Provide and support patients with personal and clinical care
• Maintain accurate records in the electronic patient record
• Observe patient status and report changes to Registered Nurse
• Report abnormal findings to nurse/doctor
• Undertake basic housekeeping, stock control and administrative duties
