Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for orthopaedics? Looking to join a well-established, multi-vet hospital where your skills will be valued, nurtured, and put to exceptional use? This could be the role for you.

My client is a highly respected, 24-hour RCVS-accredited small animal hospital, proudly serving the local community since 1968. Located in the sought-after London Borough of Bromley, the practice blends tradition with innovation in a newly refurbished, state-of-the-art facility.

The Role:
They’re currently seeking an Orthopaedic Veterinary Surgeon to join their supportive and collaborative team. You’ll be a key part of a well-equipped hospital that boasts two operating theatres, a dedicated imaging suite (including digital X-ray, CT, ultrasound, and dental X-ray), endoscopy and laparoscopic kit, and even a separate feline wing with its own waiting room and consulting rooms.

This position is ideal for a vet with advanced orthopaedic skills, including fracture repair, joint surgery, and soft tissue procedures. Proficiency in techniques such as TPLO, TTA, and arthroscopy is essential, as is experience with diagnostic imaging and laparoscopic surgery.

Why Join This Team?
• 24/7 patient care: With a dedicated night team on-site, you can focus on your surgical caseload during the day while knowing your patients are well cared for around the clock.
• Collaborative environment: The hospital provides out-of-hours support to several practices in the region, making it a central hub for excellence in veterinary care.
• Specialist support: They offer remote input via Virtual Veterinary Specialists (VVS), providing access to cardiology and abdominal ultrasound expertise when needed.
• Supportive leadership: As part of the team, you’ll be encouraged to mentor, guide and support nurses with Schedule 3 procedures, contributing to the ongoing clinical growth and operational success of the practice.

The Ideal Candidate Will Be:
• RCVS registered with a strong background in orthopaedic surgery
• Skilled in soft tissue surgery, imaging interpretation, and laparoscopy
• A confident communicator and team player
• Experienced in delivering exceptional patient and client care
• Passionate about mentoring and supporting the clinical team

Location Perks:
The Borough of Bromley offers the best of both worlds—lush green parks and peaceful surroundings with excellent transport links into central London. Whether you're looking for vibrant city life or a relaxed suburban atmosphere, it has it all.
