The Chiltern Hospital in Great Missenden is seeking a Theatre Practitioner to join the theatre team. The post requires orthopaedic scrub experience and HCPC or NMC registration.

You will cover a 37.5 hour week with a flexible shift pattern, and must travel to the sister site at High Wycombe for dual-site work. Formación

• Registered Nurse (NMC) or ODP HCPC with current registration.
• Experience in theatre environments, scrub, anaesthetics or recovery.
• Strong infection control and patient safety knowledge.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy theatre setting.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the surgical team by preparing instruments and maintaining sterility.
• Support the anaesthetist in equipment prep, patient monitoring and positioning.
• Provide post-operative care and monitor vital signs, pain and nausea.
• Adhere to infection prevention policies at all times.
• Set up operating theatres according to surgery type and patient needs.
• Check equipment and report faults; collaborate with MDT for safe lists.
• Contribute to a positive, efficient theatre environment.
