Qualifications

• NMC/HCPC registration is essential.
• Experience in surgical scrub within orthopaedics is required.
• SFA qualification desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in orthopaedic surgeries with a focus on hip and knee arthroplasties.
• Support the surgical team and ensure patient safety.
• Maintain sterile field and assist in post-operative care.

The role

What You’ll Bring With You

• NMC/HCPC registration
• Surgical scrub experience within orthopaedics including but not limited to hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty and anterior cruciate ligaments
• Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) would be desirable, but not essential
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
• Flexible and positive attitude
• A warm, considerate and empathetic character
