NHS Grampian in Aberdeen invites applications for a Band 4 Physiotherapy Healthcare Support Worker in Elective Orthopaedics based at Woodend Hospital. This 36 hours/week permanent post supports a team of physiotherapists to help patients regain mobility and plan safe discharge.

You will hold a delegated caseload, provide treatments within a defined framework, work independently and with the team, and may cover other specialties within the Acute Sector as required.

Qualifikationen

• Several years experience as an HCSW within a therapy team or ward setting.
• SVQ Health Care qualification or equivalent.
• Experience or knowledge of exercise or Orthopaedics is essential.

Aufgaben

• Hold a delegated caseload of patients and provide treatments within a defined framework.
• Work both independently and collaboratively within the team to help patients gain mobility.
• Support discharge planning and may work in other specialties within the Acute Sector when required.
