NHS Golden Jubilee is seeking a Healthcare Support Worker/Phlebotomist to join the Orthopaedic Nursing Team. You will perform venepuncture and phlebotomy, support admissions, discharges and transfers, and assist with patient preparation for examinations and procedures.

You will contribute to a safe, clean clinical environment, support with personal care and dietary needs, collect specimens, and monitor patient changes while communicating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an acute healthcare environment is essential.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach are required.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and independently when needed.

Responsabilités

• Undertake venepuncture and phlebotomy procedures for patients.
• Assist with personal care, admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures and support dietary and fluid needs.
• Collect specimens and assist with monitoring and reporting changes in patient condition.
• Maintain a safe, clean and efficient clinical environment and support administrative duties.
