Job summary

Your World Nursing is seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistant to support nurses and the wider team in a UK hospital setting. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and help with mobility while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include recording patient information, reporting changes to the nursing staff, restocking supplies, and providing compassionate support to patients and families.

Qualifications

• NMC registration is required.
• 6 months experience within a UK hospital ward setting is required.
• Right to work in the UK is required.

Job description

The Role

As an experienced Healthcare Assistant, you'll provide crucial support to nurses and the wider healthcare team. Your duties will include assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, as well as helping with mobility and transfers. You'll also take vital signs, record patient information, and report any changes in patient conditions to the nursing staff. Additionally, you'll contribute to maintaining a clean and safe patient environment, restock supplies, and provide emotional support to patients and their families.

You’ll need to be a hardworking, passionate, and dedicated professional, with excellent communication skills, great attention to detail, and a friendly demeanour.
