Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Enhanced Recovery Practitioner to lead multidisciplinary teams in the orthopaedic unit, embedding Enhanced Recovery pathways pre- and post-operatively. You will support patients and families, drive service improvements and collaborate with consultants to reduce length of stay and optimise day-case arthroplasty.

Formación

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.
• Experience leading a multidisciplinary team.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate the enhanced recovery pathway for hip and knee arthroplasty patients.
• Deliver patient education sessions for informed consent and expectation management.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress throughout the perioperative pathway.
• Lead the morning team brief and liaise with consultants.
• Promote early mobilisation, pain control and timely discharge.
• Support ward staff and coordinate patient flow and discharge planning.
• Be a single point of contact for patients and carers throughout their journey.
