Job summary

NHS Fife is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) or experienced Nurse Practitioner progressing toward advanced practice to join the Orthopaedic Department. The role spans trauma and elective pathways, with exposure to rapid, innovative care models.

As a senior practitioner, you will assess, decide, and manage patients, contributing to safe service delivery and patient flow. You will support teaching and development within a multidisciplinary team and pursue postgraduate qualification

Qualifications

• Applicants must hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Practice.
• Demonstrated evidence of clinical competence and ability to work autonomously.
• Support for registered Nurse Practitioners working toward PGDip and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient management alongside senior medical staff in orthopaedic care.
• Deliver safe, effective care and contribute to improved patient flow.
• Teach, supervise, assess, and mentor other team members.
