Job summary

Canopius seeks a resilient and proactive professional to help develop and sustain the Organisational Resilience framework across the firm. You’ll ensure regulatory and internal compliance for BCM and risk frameworks, coordinate incident response, and maintain resilience documentation.

Based in London (Hybrid), you’ll work with SMEs to address vulnerabilities, prepare resilience testing plans, and embed resilience into culture while liaising with procurement on third-party contract requirements.

• Excellent communicator with good relationship management and negotiation skills.
• Keen to learn and develop knowledge of Business Continuity & Operational Resilience.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of Canopius OrganisationalResilience framework across functions and locations.
• Support and ensure compliance to MAS BCM Guidelines, BMA Operational Resilience and UK OperationalResilience.
• Maintain and improve the Business Continuity Framework including the annual BIA review and BC Plan creation.
• Maintain and test the Group Emergency Notification system.
• Keep the OrganisationalResilience SharePoint and Intranet up to date and fit for purpose.
• Support development and maintenance of the Group Risk & Resilience system.

Job description

Key to the role will be contributing to the on-going development and maintenance of Canopius ’OrganisationalResilienceframework, ensuring a consistent approach and execution across all functions and relevant locations.

Support and ensure compliance to relevant regulations to which we are subject to including but not limited to MAS BCM Guidelines,BMA OperationalResilienceand UK OperationalResilience

Contribution to the maintenance and improvement of the Business Continuity Framework including the annual BIA review process and Business Continuity Plan creation

Responsible for maintenance and testing of the Group Emergency Notification system

Responsible for ensuring theOrganisationalResilienceSharePoint and Intranet site are up to date and fit for purpose

Support with the development & maintenance of the Group Risk &Resiliencesystem

Support in the coordination of incidents, including root cause analysis, impact assessment and identifying risks / vulnerabilities and associated remediation plans

Working with SMEs to address vulnerabilities in processes, designing and documentingworkarounds to mitigate the risk

Assist in the creation and delivery of Canopius ’ annualResiliencetesting plan, including exercise preparation, delivery, report writing and lessons learned tracking

Assist in the generation and maintenance of Organisational Resilience documentation appropriately for reporting requirements to Boards and the regulators

Work with Procurement toensurethird party contracts are suitably reviewed and contain the relevantResiliencerequirements

Work with Procurement to create Exit Strategies and ensure they are tested

Work with stakeholders to understand importance ofResilienceacross the firm, embedding into culture
