Its an exciting time to joinLHP!With the recent approval of our ambitious Everyday Better transformation programme by our Board and Executive Team, were building a brand-new Organisational Development team. This team will be at the heart of delivering impactful programmes that strengthen our culture, enhance leadership capability, and boost colleague engagement across the organisation.

Were introducing three new roles within this team, all working closely with our newly appointedStrategic Lead for Organisational Development.Together, youll bring our vision to life, designing and delivering impactful programmes that support meaningful, lasting change.

As anOrganisational Development (OD) Specialist (Culture & Engagement)youll work in close partnership with theOrganisational Developmentteam and the widerPeople and Changeteam, youll play a key part in implementing theCulture Action Planand ensuring our leaders, teams, and services are well-prepared for change.

Location:Lincolnshire (Our Offices are in Grimsby & Boston)

Salary:£34,600

Contract:Permanent/ Full Time

What could a typical week look like as an OD Specialist (Culture & Engagement)?

A Typical Week Could Look Like

  • Host a Toolbox talk session with our repairs team to gather feedback on recent changes.
  • Review responses from the latest pulse survey and begin identifying key themes.
  • Collaborate with the Communications team to launch an internal campaign for a menopause awareness week
  • Draft engaging content for the intranet and internal newsletters to promote upcoming culture events.
  • Design a toolkit for managers to help them lead inclusive conversations within their teams.
  • Facilitate a team session focused on values-based behaviours and Safeguarding.
  • Develop a new resource for managers on how to run effective team check-ins.
  • Meet with OD colleagues to co-design a new initiative that supports cross-team collaboration.
  • Join a working group with HR and Comms to embed values into onboarding and recognition programmes.
  • Support the Strategic OD Lead in preparing a presentation for the Exec Team on cultural progress.
  • Coordinate logistics for upcoming focus groups, including invites, materials, and facilitation plans.
  • Reflect on the weeks impact and plan next steps for upcoming engagement initiatives.

This is what youll need to thrive in this role

  • A passion for delivering meaningful engagement and culture change activities, whether thats through listening events, team sessions, or inclusion campaigns.
  • Strong communication skills to support internal messaging around organisational development initiatives.
  • Experience coordinating employee voice mechanisms such as pulse surveys and focus groups, and using insights to inform action.
  • Experience in using practical tools and resources that help managers and teams collaborate more effectively.
  • A collaborative mindset to support the design and delivery of OD initiatives that reflect our brand, vision, and values, ensuring a consistent and authentic employee experience.
  • Strong communication skills and experience of partnership working across front line and support teams.
  • Confidence to build relationships quickly, working with the wider People & Culture team to embed our values and behaviours into everyday practice.
  • A curious and analytical approach to capturing feedback and data, using it to measure cultural progress and drive continuous improvement.
