Principal Resourcing are working with number of Alternative Provisions in the area.
Alternative provisions provide education for pupils who are struggling to thrive in a mainstream setting.
Pupils come from a wide range of backgrounds, but all have Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH). Many will also have other Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) such as Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties.
Varying strategies are used to ensure best outcomes for pupils. Strategies vary from provision to provision, but all are child centred. You will deliver targeted intervention dependant on the pupils needs as directed. The ability to measure outcome is advantageous. Experience in reflection, restorative practice and childhood trauma is also desirable.
We are looking for Qualified teachers and support workers that have experience of working with children with SEMH or that have a strong interest in this area. We can offer comprehensive training bespoke to the provision/ pupils to add to your skills and experience, but you must be able to demonstrate a passion for improving outcomes and helping pupils make the best choices on a daily basis.
