Job summary

Kingdom People is seeking an Order Picker to accurately pick and load customer orders in a temperature-controlled warehouse. You will adhere to Health & Safety guidelines and complete the necessary paperwork to support efficient, safe operations.

The role requires working a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, with potential overtime. You will be moving products onto pallets and using a handheld scanner, supported by good communication with the despatch team and logistics staff.

Qualifications

• Temperature controlled environment 4.5°C to 7.5°C.
• Available to work from 08:00.
• 4 on / 4 off shift pattern with possible overtime.
• Ability to pick orders onto pallets.
• Good level of physical fitness and stamina.
• Clear communication with team and despatch staff.
• Picking orders using a handheld scanner.

Responsibilities

• Pick and load customer orders accurately while following H&S guidelines.
• Maintain safe and organized warehouse space, pallets and racking.
• Ensure paperwork is completed correctly for orders.
• Coordinate with despatch team leader and logistics administrator to confirm quantities.
• Carry out daily equipment checks (fork lifts, pump trucks, vehicles).
• Dispose of waste per Company policy and keep areas clean.
• Follow Health & Safety requirements in all areas.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As an Order Picker you will pick and/or load all customer orders correctly whilst adhering to H&S guidelines, ensuring that all relevant paperwork is completed accurately therefore supporting the efficient, consistent and safe.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

As an Order Picker you will be resposiable but not limited to the following:

• To ensure that all practices and prodcedures executed in the logisticsareas comply with Food Safety legislation and Food Safety Systems. To help staff achieve the Company vision and values.
• Ensure there is effective cnmmunicatjon between you/despatch team leader and logistics administrator to make sure the correct product quantities are picked and/or loaded.
• Effective and safe space management of all relevant areas organizing pallets, crates and customer product.
• Accurate picking and loading of product, trays and equipment and ensuring that no damaged products are despatched to customers. Carrying out daily equipment checks, which indude pump trucks, fork lifts and vehicles.
• Removal Of all waste from factory aieas (skips) and disposeof it as per Company policy.
• To understand and follow the Health & Safety requirements for all areas worked in.
• To ensure that a high standard of safety is maintained
