Job summary

CGI Group Inc. in London, United Kingdom, is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer with Oracle experience to support and enhance novel software solutions. The role emphasizes reliability, security, and scalable operations within a modern CI/CD framework.

You'll work with OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, and multiple cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI) in a Linux environment, applying automation (Ansible) and gaining exposure to AI toolchains. Expect collaboration in a global IT services context.

Qualifications

Experience supporting and enhancing applications with reliability and security.
Oracle DBA experience with PL/SQL development.
Experience with containers/orchestration: OpenShift, Docker and Kubernetes.
Public cloud experience (AWS, OCI, Azure, GCP) and automation/CI/CD.
Linux scripting and administration; Git usage.
Willingness to learn new technologies including AI toolchain.
Automation/configuration management experience (Ansible).
Understanding of NoSQL stores such as ElasticSearch.

Responsibilities

Support and enhance applications, maintain reliability and security; perform incident response and root-cause analysis.
Apply Oracle PL/SQL development where required.
Utilize container platforms (OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud automation.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and broader automation efforts.
Operate in a Linux development and production environment; manage packages and networking.
Use Git for version control; explore AI toolchains as needed.
Leverage NoSQL stores like ElasticSearch where applicable.
