About the Role
A global professional services firm is seeking an Oracle Payroll & HCM Senior Manager to join their Powered Apps team. You will lead HR and Payroll transformation projects using Oracle Cloud technology, working in a collaborative, tech-focused environment to deliver high-impact programs for major UK organizations.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Oracle HCM and Payroll implementations across various industries.
- Guide clients through HR and Payroll transformation initiatives, enhancing service delivery and process efficiency.
- Advise on Oracle capabilities related to HR operations, including onboarding, absence management, self-service, payroll, and offboarding.
- Support bid and proposal processes, including contract and commercial negotiations.
- Mentor team members, share knowledge, and contribute to thought leadership.
- Manage system integrations and data migration activities ensuring data quality and scalability.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement broader transformation opportunities.
- Develop junior staff through coaching and performance management, embodying the firm's values.
Candidate Profile
- Successful experience delivering Oracle Cloud Payroll and HCM projects.
- Deep understanding of Oracle HCM and Payroll functionalities.
- Experience leading transformation workstreams and managing teams.
- Knowledge of core HR and Payroll processes and legislation.
- Strong documentation, reporting, and presentation skills.
- Comfort with agile and traditional delivery frameworks.
- Experience in functional and technical roles within HR tech projects.
- Familiarity with system design documents, configuration specs, and process flows.
- Collaborative working style and ability to build strong relationships.
- Commercial awareness and adaptability to fast-paced environments.
- Desirable: Exposure to other HCM systems like Workday, SuccessFactors, or ServiceNow.
- Eligibility for UK Security Check (SC) clearance is essential.
