Your new role

(Hybrid 2 days on site in Warwick)

As an Oracle HCM Specialist, you will be part of a team responsible for the maintenance and support of ESR (Electronic Staff Records). This is a functional role predominantly, with some technical aspects. You will communicate with end users, understand their issues, prioritise issues for resolution, and address the issues raised.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Oracle HCM experience (Oracle HRMS, Oracle SSHR, Oracle Workflow, OLM, Oracle BI, SQL)
  • Problem-solving, investigative and analytical skills
  • Experience working within an application support team
  • Exposure to querying, manipulating and configuring SQL
  • Knowledge of a help desk system and managing service requests / incidents / problems
  • Respond to users within set service level agreements (SLAs) and operating level agreements (OLAs)
  • Establish good working relationships with clients and project teams
  • Customer communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Provide politically sensitive answers / solutions to issues as necessary
  • Negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Ability to work with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels

Nice to have skills

  • An understanding of ITIL framework
  • UK Payroll Legislation
  • Experience of working within the healthcare sector
