Job summary

IBM Consulting UK FutureNow is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead Oracle HCM Cloud implementations. You will engage clients across sectors, perform requirements analysis, design solutions, and collaborate with technical teams to deploy Oracle Cloud capabilities.

You will contribute to proposals, support pre-sales activities, and travel to client sites. The role demands strong communication, delivery experience, and a track record of successful cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of functional experience delivering Oracle HCM Cloud Applications.
• Evidence of full Oracle Cloud Implementations cycles.
• Demonstrated experience in Solution Design, Requirements Analysis, Functional Design Configuration Documentation, Troubleshooting and Integration Architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer-facing engagements and contribute to all phases of the consulting lifecycle.
• Perform Requirement Analysis, Business Process Documentation & Solution Design.
• Develop, configure and deploy Oracle HCM Cloud solutions and support project deliverables.
• Contribute to proposals and demonstrate Oracle Cloud capabilities to potential customers.

Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant working as an integral part of a project team, you will contribute to all phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will play a customer-facing role and be involved in Requirement Analysis, Business Process Documentation & Solution Design. You will work with and support your peers to develop, configure and deploy the solution, and ensure project processes and deliverables in your area are met. In addition to project related activities, you will also contribute to proposal development, demonstrating the application to potential customers and play an important role in building our Oracle Cloud capabilities and offerings.
As an experienced consultant you will be a self-starter and have strong functional skills in the implementation of Oracle HCM Cloud, backed up by proven hands-on experience, ideally across different industries. You will have the ability to work under pressure and must be able to communicate effectively with customer stakeholders.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• At least 5 Years of functional experience delivering Oracle HCM Cloud Applications.
• Evidence of full Oracle Cloud Implementations cycles
• Demonstrated experience in Solution Design, Requirements Analysis, Functional Design Configuration Documentation, Troubleshooting and Integration Architecture
• Experience working with technical teams for Interface design, development and testing
• Ability to multi-task and to work independently
• Strong client facing, communication and client management skills
• A good understanding of Application Implementation methodologies
• Ability to travel to client sites
• Demonstrable functional skills:

• Oracle Help Desk (HR Help Desk or Customer Service depending on your use case)

• Oracle Cloud Implementation Certification(s).
• Experience in Oracle Cloud Implementations and integrating them with other on premise or cloud applications.
• An understanding of the broader Oracle Cloud functional areas e.g. Finance, HCM and Payroll, SCM, CX, Logistics.
• Good knowledge of the reporting and analytical tools available as part of Oracle Cloud.
• Some experience in pre-sales activities such as contributing to proposals, conducting Proof of Concepts & Configuring Sand-box environments for functional demonstrations.
