IBM Consulting UK FutureNow seeks a Senior Consultant to join a project team and contribute to all phases of the consulting lifecycle, focusing on Oracle HCM/Payroll Cloud. You will help develop, configure and deploy the solution while supporting proposals and expanding cloud capabilities across industries.

You will need hands-on experience across different industries, strong communication with stakeholders, and the ability to travel to client sites. BPSS/NVS security controls may apply.

Qualifications

• Up to 10 years of functional experience delivering Oracle Payroll Cloud applications.
• Multiple full Oracle Cloud implementations cycles.
• Experience in solution design, requirements analysis, functional design configuration documentation, troubleshooting and integration architecture.
• Experience with interface design, development and testing with technical teams.
• Strong client facing, communication and client management skills.
• Good understanding of HCM and Payroll modules including absences and time & labour.
• Knowledge of UK payroll legislative requirements (PAYE, NI, Auto Enrolment).
• Experience delivering Oracle-based HCM solutions to medium/large enterprises.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and handle delivery in a consulting context.
• Oracle Cloud implementation certification(s) and broader cloud knowledge (Finance, HCM, Payroll, SCM, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to all phases of the consulting lifecycle from requirements analysis to solution design and deployment.
• Be customer-facing, support proposal development and demonstrate Oracle Cloud capabilities.
• Collaborate with peers to develop, configure and deploy the solution and ensure project deliverables are met.

As a Senior Consultant working as an integral part of a project team, you will contribute to all phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will play a customer-facing role and be involved in Requirement Analysis, Business Process Documentation & Solution Design. You will work with and support your peers to develop, configure and deploy the solution, and ensure project processes and deliverables in your area are met. In addition to project related activities, you will also contribute to proposal development, demonstrating the application to potential customers and play an important role in building our Oracle Cloud capabilities and offerings. As an experienced consultant you will be a self-starter and have strong functional skills in the implementation of Oracle HCM/Payroll Cloud, backed up by proven hands-on experience, ideally across different industries. You will have the ability to work under pressure and must be able to communicate effectively with customer stakeholders. • Demonstrable functional skills:
• Has excellent knowledge of designing and configuring Oracle Payroll solutions including; payroll elements, fast formula, pension schemes & absence schemes.
• Sound understanding of related modules; Absence, Time & Labour, Compensation
• Has excellent, up to date knowledge of UK payroll legislative requirements including; PAYE and NI, Pensions Automatic Enrolment, Salary Sacrifice, statutory absence payments and RTI.
• Has strong client facing / consultancy experience
• Has proven, full lifecycle implementation experience of delivering Oracle based HCM solutions to medium and large enterprise clients
• This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government's Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). An additional range of Personal Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NVS) may apply, this could include meeting the eligibility requirements for The Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).
• Preferred technical and professional experience Experience working with technical teams for Interface design, development and testing.
• Good domain knowledge of HCM and Payroll modules, with demonstrable knowledge of Absence and Time & Labour
• Leading project implementations
• Oracle Cloud Implementation Certification(s).
• Experience in Oracle Cloud Implementations and integrating them with other on premise or cloud applications.
• A good understanding of the broader Oracle Cloud functional areas e.g. Finance, HCM and Payroll, SCM, CX, Logistics.
• Good knowledge of the reporting and analytical tools available as part of Oracle Cloud.
• Some experience in pre-sales activities such as contributing to proposals, conducting Proof of Concepts & Configuring Sand-box environments for functional demonstrations.
