Job summary

Northern Powergrid Limited is seeking a Finance Systems Manager to lead the Oracle Fusion ERP programme and oversee the ongoing operation, maintenance and optimisation of our finance systems. You will translate business requirements into effective system solutions and drive delivery through to BAU operation.

You will manage a team of Finance Systems Partners, coordinate with Finance, IT and external partners, and push continuous improvement in reporting and controls while supporting month-end

Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP.
• Experience leading finance systems teams.
• Knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management or Projects.
• Experience managing finance systems in a BAU environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into system solutions.
• Experience with finance reporting tools and dashboards.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead aspects of the Oracle Fusion ERP implementation, including requirements gathering, testing and go-live readiness.
• Manage and develop a team of Finance Systems Partners.
• Support ongoing operation, maintenance and optimisation of Oracle Fusion.
• Act as the link between Finance, IT and external partners.
• Drive process improvement and automation across finance systems and reporting activities.
• Support month-end, year-end and critical finance processes.
• Manage system issues, troubleshooting and coordinating resolutions.
• Develop reporting solutions and improve management information capabilities.
• Maintain governance, controls, system documentation and data integrity.
• Support upgrades, enhancements and future finance technology developments.
• Help shape the long-term finance systems strategy.
