Job summary

Modis International Ltd (UK) is seeking an Oracle Fusion Finance - Functional Consultant for our Newcastle office. You will work between Finance, Technology and the wider business, delivering improvements across Oracle Fusion Financials and supporting rollout across entities.

You will translate business requirements into Oracle functional solutions, engage with Finance users and senior stakeholders, and contribute to the Oracle roadmap including AI Agents.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Financials.
• Functional knowledge across core Oracle Finance modules such as GL, AP, AR, Cash Management and Fixed Assets.
• Understanding of Finance and accounting processes.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating them into Oracle functional solutions.
• Experience across both Oracle implementations/projects and BAU environments.
• Understanding of the wider implementation lifecycle, including configuration, testing, UAT and go-live.
• Confidence working directly with Finance users and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to investigate problems and recommend practical solutions.
• Proactive hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver functional improvements and enhancements across Oracle Fusion Financials.
• Work with Finance stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into Oracle solutions.
• Support the implementation and rollout of Fusion Finance across new business areas and entities.
• Review existing Finance processes and identify opportunities for improvement, standardisation and automation.
• Configure and support Oracle Finance functionality across the wider Fusion estate.
• Support functional design, testing, UAT and deployment of new solutions.
• Troubleshoot more complex functional issues and provide guidance to Finance users.
• Work alongside external implementation and delivery partners on Oracle projects.
• Support user adoption, training and knowledge transfer.
• Contribute to the wider Oracle roadmap and emerging capabilities, including Oracle AI Agents.

Oracle Fusion Finance - Functional Consultant

I'm working with a large, global organisation looking to strengthen its internal Oracle capability with an experienced Finance Functional specialist.

Sitting between Finance, Technology and the wider business, you'll work closely with Finance users to understand requirements, improve processes and deliver effective solutions across the Oracle Fusion Financials estate.

There is plenty happening across the environment, including new implementations, onboarding additional business areas, functional enhancements and continued development of the Oracle roadmap.
