Modis International Ltd in Newcastle is seeking an Oracle Fusion Finance - Functional Consultant to join a busy capability. You will liaise with Finance users to understand needs, translate requirements into Oracle solutions, and support rollout across new entities.

The role involves working across Oracle Fusion Financials, with opportunities to influence the roadmap and adopt Oracle AI Agents as part of ongoing enhancements.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Financials.
• Knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Cash Management and Fixed Assets.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating them into Oracle functional solutions.
• Experience across Oracle implementations/projects and BAU environments.

• Deliver functional improvements and enhancements across Oracle Fusion Financials.
• Work with Finance stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into Oracle solutions.
• Support the implementation and rollout of Fusion Finance across new business areas and entities.
• Review existing Finance processes and identify opportunities for improvement, standardisation and automation.
• Configure and support Oracle Finance functionality across the wider Fusion estate.
• Support functional design, testing, UAT and deployment of new solutions.
• Troubleshoot more complex functional issues and provide guidance to Finance users.
• Work alongside external implementation and delivery partners on Oracle projects.
• Support user adoption, training and knowledge transfer.
• Contribute to the wider Oracle roadmap and emerging capabilities, including Oracle AI Agents.

Oracle Fusion Finance - Functional Consultant

Newcastle

£75K - £90K + Bonus

I'm working with a large, global organisation looking to strengthen its internal Oracle capability with an experienced Finance Functional specialist.

Sitting between Finance, Technology and the wider business, you'll work closely with Finance users to understand requirements, improve processes and deliver effective solutions across the Oracle Fusion Financials estate.

There is plenty happening across the environment, including new implementations, onboarding additional business areas, functional enhancements and continued development of the Oracle roadmap.

What we're looking for

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Financials
• Functional knowledge across core Oracle Finance modules such as GL, AP, AR, Cash Management and Fixed Assets
• A strong understanding of Finance and accounting processes
• Experience gathering requirements and translating them into Oracle functional solutions
• Experience across both Oracle implementations/projects and BAU environments
• Understanding of the wider implementation life cycle, including configuration, testing, UAT and go-live
• Confidence working directly with Finance users and senior stakeholders
• The ability to investigate problems, challenge existing processes and recommend practical solutions
• A proactive approach and willingness to remain hands-on
