Next Ventures is seeking an experienced Oracle Solution Architect for a new, long-term Oracle Cloud implementation with our client, a consultancy, in the UK.
Job title: Oracle Cloud Solution Architect
Start Date: Immediate/ASAP
Location: United Kingdom
Duration: 10 months + extensions
Description:
- Lead the design and implementation of Oracle ERP solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and integrate seamlessly with existing systems.
- Develop detailed system architectures and roadmaps, incorporating industry standards and best practices for scalability, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with business leaders, functional teams, and IT to understand requirements and translate them into effective ERP solutions.
- Oversee customization of ERP software to meet specific needs and ensure smooth integration with other enterprise applications.
- Implement best practices for ERP configuration, governance, data migration, and testing.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members during ERP development and implementation.
- Stay updated on ERP industry trends, advising on system improvements and upgrades.
Skills & experience:
- Deep knowledge of Oracle ERP Workstreams (finance, HR, supply chain, etc.) and their integration.
- 5+ years of experience as an Oracle ERP Solution Architect or similar role.
- Experience with Oracle Revenue Management, Subscription Management, and Product Information Management.
- Strong skills in system integration, database management, and cloud technologies.
- Proficiency in ERP implementation methodologies and project management.
- Understanding of business processes across finance, manufacturing, logistics, and sales.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex challenges.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
