Job summary

VE3 is seeking an Oracle ERP Functional Consultant (SC Cleared) to support and deliver improvements to a large Oracle Cloud finance service in the United Kingdom. The role combines live service support with project work, including changes to GL, AP and AR, plus procurement, with close collaboration with finance product owners and business leads.

You will handle end-to-end ERP incidents, assess quarterly releases, and design configurations delivered in sprints or defined work packages.

Qualifications

• Strong Fusion ERP functional experience across financials core: GL, AP and AR.
• Experience supporting a live Oracle Cloud service with real users.
• Understanding of period close, reconciliations, supplier payment runs, audit trails.
• Ability to gather requirements and write them up clearly.
• Familiarity with Oracle Risk Management Cloud or financial reporting tooling.
• Knowledge of Fusion security concepts: roles, data access, segregation of duties.

Responsibilities

• Own 2nd and 3rd line ERP incidents and requests, especially month/quarter/year end peaks.
• Assess quarterly Oracle releases for changes across financials and procurement; advise testing and communications.
• Design and build ERP configuration changes, from small fixes to larger sprints or work packages.
• Monitor light responsibility over supply chain modules.
• Collaborate with finance product owners and business leads; translate ideas into requirements and impact assessments.
• Understand security roles for financial data and coordinate with access specialists for changes.
• Create test evidence (regression in Tosca) and capture config with ConfigSnapshot.
• Hand changes over with documentation, knowledge articles, and KM repository contributions.

Job Title: Oracle ERP Functional Consultant (SC Cleared)

The Work

We run and develop one of the largest Oracle Cloud shared services. This role encompasses both support and delivery. You will keep the live finance service healthy, and you will design and build the changes that improve it.

Requirements

What You Will Actually Do:

• Own second and third line ERP incidents and service requests through to fix, with extra attention at month end, quarter end and through the year end peaks
• Assess what each quarterly Oracle release changes across financials and procurement: what to enable, what to test, and what finance teams need to know in advance
• Design and build ERP configuration changes, from small fixes turned around in days to larger pieces delivered in sprints or structured work packages
• Keep a light watch over the supply chain modules, which are in modest use but still need looking after
• Work directly with finance product owners and business leads, turning loose ideas into clear written requirements and impact assessments, and pushing back on scope when the value does not stack up
• Understand the security roles that control access to financial data and functions, and work with our access specialists when changes touch them
• Build test evidence (regression is automated in Tosca) and capture configuration with ConfigSnapshot
• Hand your changes over properly: documentation, knowledge articles, and contribute to the knowledge management repository
