Job summary

Spectrum IT Recruitment Limited in Southampton is seeking an ERP support specialist to join our Oracle Financials team. You will support and configure Oracle ERP applications, and help investigate and resolve issues across the finance modules.

The role requires some ERP experience, aptitude for learning new systems, and ability to gather and document business requirements. The position is office-based with up to 26 days holiday and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• We have some relevant systems, application or ERP experience, with Oracle.
• Comfortable with learning new systems and technologies.
• Comfortable with gathering and analysing information.
• Comfortable with documenting your work clearly.
• Ability to work with both technical teams and business users.
• Ability to manage defined tasks and priorities.
• Exposure to Oracle applications (useful).
• Exposure to ERP systems (useful).
• Exposure to Finance processes (useful).
• Exposure to General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable or Fixed Assets (useful).
• Exposure to application support (useful).
• Exposure to software or system testing (useful).
• Exposure to Microsoft Excel and data analysis (useful).

Responsibilities

• Support and configure Oracle ERP applications.
• Help investigate and resolve application issues.
• Gather and document business requirements.
• Contribute to basic functional solution design.
• Create test plans, test cases and document results.
• Test system changes, customisations and developments.
• Support escalated ERP issues from the helpdesk.
• Work with Finance and other business teams across EMEA.
• Contribute to ERP projects and process improvements.
• Gain exposure to the migration of existing sites onto Oracle.
• Work with other business applications over time as experience develops.
