Job summary

Norton Blake Limited is seeking an experienced Oracle EPM Solution Architect to shape and deliver enterprise finance and Oracle EPM solutions within a regulated environment. You will own architecture from requirements through deployment, ensuring secure, scalable designs aligned with business objectives.

You will collaborate with finance, business, engineering and security to translate requirements into architectural designs and guide delivery across cloud and legacy systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Solution Architecture or Technical Architecture.
• Experience with enterprise finance, ERP or EPM solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle EPM and its integration.
• Proven API-led, distributed integration designs.
• Cloud architecture across networking, IAM, compute, storage, containers.
• Experience in regulated sectors (banking/financial services).
• Data warehousing, governance, lineage, analytics.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture across applications, data, cloud platforms and integrations.
• Design integrations between EPM, ERP, GL and other systems using APIs and integration tools.
• Produce high-level/low-level designs, data flows and roadmaps.
• Lead architecture reviews, governance and design assurance.
• Guide cloud adoption and modernization across Oracle Cloud, GCP and hybdrid environments.
• Embed security, IAM, encryption and data governance into designs.
• Provide technical direction through design, build, testing and deployment.
• Explain architectural decisions to senior stakeholders.

Oracle EPM Solution Architect

Employment type: Contract Inside IR35

Open to - Manchester / Bristol / Leeds / Cheshire

Rate - £450 Per Day

Duration - 6 Months ( Multiple Extensions Available )

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to shape and deliver enterprise finance and Oracle EPM solutions within a complex, regulated environment.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in finance transformation, connecting enterprise performance management, financial data and cloud platforms. You will own solution architecture from initial requirements through to deployment, ensuring designs are secure, scalable and aligned with business objectives.

The role

Working closely with finance, business, engineering and security teams, you will translate business requirements into practical architectural designs and guide delivery across cloud and legacy systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Owning end-to-end solution architecture across applications, data, cloud platforms and integrations, supporting Oracle EPM and wider ERP and finance transformation.
• Designing integrations between EPM, ERP, general ledger and other enterprise systems using APIs, Oracle Integration Cloud and appropriate integration patterns.
• Producing high-level and low-level designs, integration maps, data flows, sequence diagrams and architecture roadmaps.
• Leading architecture reviews, design assurance and governance, ensuring solutions meet enterprise standards.
• Guiding cloud adoption and modernisation across Oracle Cloud, GCP and hybrid environments.
• Embedding security, identity and access management, encryption, data governance and operational resilience into solution designs.
• Providing technical direction throughout delivery, working with engineering teams from design through build, testing and deployment.
• Explaining architectural decisions and trade-offs to senior stakeholders and non-technical audiences.

What we are looking for

• Substantial experience in Solution Architecture or Technical Architecture, typically 10+ years.
• Experience architecting enterprise finance, ERP or EPM solutions, with knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, reporting and associated data flows.
• Strong understanding of Oracle EPM and its integration within the wider enterprise technology landscape.
• Proven experience designing API-led, distributed and integration-intensive solutions.
• Strong cloud architecture knowledge, including networking, IAM, compute, storage, containers and cloud-native services.
• Experience working within banking, financial services, insurance or another regulated sector.
• A solid grounding in data architecture, including warehousing, governance, lineage and analytics.
• Working knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing and observability.
• Strong architecture documentation, stakeholder management and technical leadership skills.

Desirable experience

• Oracle EPM, Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle Integration Cloud or relevant cloud certifications.
• Experience with GCP, BigQuery, Dataflow, Oracle databases, SQL and NoSQL technologies.
• Familiarity with TOGAF, ArchiMate, UML or enterprise architecture modelling tools.
• Delivery experience across large-scale finance modernisation or multi-year transformation programmes.
