Job summary

GCS is seeking an experienced Finance Architect & Oracle ERP Lead to support and enhance its Oracle Financials landscape across Europe. The role requires hands-on delivery between Finance and Technology teams, leading Oracle SEs and shaping architecture for GL, AP, and FA modules.

The ideal candidate has extensive Oracle Financials experience, strong SQL skills, and familiarity with ERP implementations and integrations.

Qualifications

• 15+ years working with Oracle Financials.
• Strong recent experience with Oracle EBS and/or Oracle Cloud ERP.
• Deep knowledge of: Oracle General Ledger (GL), Oracle Accounts Payable (AP), Oracle Fixed Assets (FA).
• Full lifecycle Oracle implementation and production support experience.
• Strong understanding of Record-to-Report (R2R) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
• Experience leading small to medium-sized Oracle support and delivery teams.
• Banking or Financial Services experience preferred.
• SQL knowledge for troubleshooting and interface support.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a hands‑on Oracle Finance specialist with strong functional and technical expertise who is comfortable operating between Finance and Technology teams. Candidates whose recent experience has been focused on Oracle Financials delivery, support and solution architecture will be particularly well suited to this opportunity.

Please note: This role is not aimed at senior Enterprise Architects, TOM consultants or transformation leaders whose recent experience has been primarily strategic rather than hands‑on Oracle Financials delivery.
