Job Description: Oracle Database Administrator (DBA)

Role Title: Oracle Database Administrator (DBA)

Duration: Contract until 31/10/2025

Location: London, Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Rate: Up to £600.13 per day, Umbrella inside IR35

Key Skills and Requirements

• Fluent in French
• Creating users, allocating to appropriate tablespaces with necessary privileges and roles for all databases
• Implementation of High Availability solutions with Oracle RAC, Physical and Logical Standby databases
• Experience in Oracle migrations and upgrades (11g to 19c) on Linux platforms
• Management of schemas, objects, and partitioning of tables and indexes
• Strong knowledge of Oracle technology architecture and Real Application Clusters
• Effective troubleshooting of databases and performance tuning
• Ability to understand client business needs and provide practical solutions
• Experience in database capacity management
• Experience in database migrations from Physical to Oracle Cloud
• Handling and coordination of Oracle Grid migrations and database split strategies
• Good PL/SQL knowledge
• Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
