Chepstow School cleaner required by Carrington Blake Recruitment to maintain a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene and safety, creating a welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

Work pattern is 20 hours per week with a PAYE rate of £94.05 per day. The role demands reliability, good communication, teamwork and a commitment to safeguarding and health and safety policies.

Responsabilités

• Carry out daily cleaning duties including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, mopping and polishing.
• Clean floors, walls, classrooms, offices, corridors and sanitary areas.
• Empty litter bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Safely operate vacuum cleaners, polishing machines and other cleaning equipment.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely and in accordance with procedures.
• Maintain appropriate stocks of cleaning materials and report shortages.
• Report any faults with cleaning equipment to the supervisor.
• Follow the Council’s cleaning quality standards, Health & Safety procedures and safeguarding requirements.
• Work effectively as part of the Facilities/Cleaning team.
• Complete any relevant training required for the role.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness at all times.
• Follow equality, safeguarding and other Council policies and procedures.

Main Purpose of the Role
