Job summary

OutsideClinic in the UK is seeking an Optometrist to join our domiciliary care team. You will travel to patients in Nottingham, Derby, Lincoln and surrounding areas, delivering eye care in patients’ homes with longer 60-minute appointments to build real relationships.

We offer a market-leading salary up to £64,000 per year, a strong bonus structure, a fully expensed company car for business and personal use, and flexible contracts for 4 or 5 days per week with no weekends.

• Visit about 6–7 patients daily in patients' homes with 60-minute appointments.
• Make autonomous clinical decisions with rapid support from head office when needed.

• Receive CPD support with time allocated to complete exams.

A vital and rewarding role

We're on the lookout for an optometrist that lives in Nottingham, who is able to visit patients in Nottingham/ Derby and Lincoln.

This is an important hire for us as we have a waiting list of patients in the area who are eager to get access to our trusted at-home service.

We're a flexible employer, and you can choose the number of days you work to fit around family and other commitments - plus we never work weekends!

Equipment:

All of our Optometrists are provided with a full equipment kit, along with comprehensive training to ensure you feel confident before working independently. You can view our equipment in action here Equipment Video

You will:

• Help around 6-7 patients every day, visiting them in their own homes. Our appointments are longer than you'd get on the high street (1 hr), allowing you time to form better relationships with your patients and deliver gold-standard customer care.

• Be trusted to make autonomous decisions and valued for your expertise. Although you'll never be on your own as you can get support or a second opinion in minutes from our senior optometrist team at head office.

• Use the very latest equipment, including a digital fundus camera, mobile slit lamp, I-care tonometer and our industry-leading digital records system, which means no paperwork.

• Be supported with your CPD. We'll invest in you and give you the time to complete exams if required.
