Job summary

Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care is seeking a GOC-registered Optometrist to deliver excellent clinical care and build strong relationships with customers and branch teams. You will conduct 30-minute eye examinations, diagnose common conditions, and tailor spectacle and contact lens advice to each patient.

Whether newly qualified or experienced, you will contribute to a friendly, supportive team and help drive branch performance while delivering outstanding service within the community.

Qualifications

• GOC-registered Optometrist with current registration.
• Ability to perform thorough eye examinations with patient care.
• Committed to patient-centred care and collaborative teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations with 30-minute test slots.
• Diagnose and manage a range of eye health conditions.
• Advise on spectacle and contact lens options tailored to patient needs.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and branch teams.
• Collaborate with the branch team to support business growth and service quality.
• Participate in local enhanced schemes and support pre-registration when applicable.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge through CPD training.
