The store has recently had new Partners take over and would love an Optometrist who is looking to support the growth in our Ashington store.
Based in Ashington, we have an experienced team ready to support you. We have 3 test rooms, 25 minute set clinics, and free off-site parking. We are open to both full-time and part-time hours, as well as flexibility on alternate weekend working and clinic times to accommodate commitments you may have.

If you’re not local to Ashington, it’s worth knowing wildlife and nature is in abundance in and around this town, you can take in riverside walks and views of the countryside by heading to Wansbeck Riverside Country Park or Queen Elizabeth II Country Park.
Ashington is a great base as it is close to some of the most beautiful stretches of the coastline including at Cresswell and Newbiggin-by-the-Sea known for its beautiful sunrise and sunsets.
We do need you to have a few skills to get started in this role. Firstly, you’ll need to be a registered Optometrist and a member of the General Optical Council (keeping this up to date). You’ll also need to be confident and passionate about providing the best customer service and work well as part of a team.
