Boots Opticians in Bracknell is seeking an Optical Assistant to join our in-store team. You will greet customers, understand their needs, and guide them to the right eyewear solutions while supporting eye-tests and pre-screening activities.

This role offers the opportunity to progress through our Step Into Optics training programme with hands-on, shop-floor experience. You will dispense glasses and contact lenses, provide aftercare support, and complete dispensing-related administrative tasks

Qualifications

• Must have a passion for customer care.
• Enthusiasm for learning and personal development.

Responsibilities

• Order, dispense and collect glasses and contact lenses.
• Support with eye-tests and pre-screening activities.
• Provide aftercare support through repairs and adjustments.
• Complete operational and administrative tasks associated with dispensing prescriptions.
• Maintain shop floor standards.
