About the opportunity.

A very exciting role where you will lead the day-to-day activities of the store. Reporting to the Store Manager – Hub, you will support the team to provide the very best in-store customer experience at Boots Opticians, from start to the end of the customer journey.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Leading the in-store team to deliver a culture of exceptional care for colleagues and customers, putting the customers at the heart of decision-making.
2. Driving the team to deliver the Hub's local plans for Enhanced Services.
3. Proactively managing clinics daily to enhance productivity and efficiency.
4. Maintaining Clinical and Health and Safety standards in store on a daily basis.
5. Supporting the Store Manager – Hub in delivering high retail standards, including maintaining a clean, well-presented shop floor and clinical areas, and ensuring colleagues are at their best.
6. Supporting the development of the Optical Consultant team.
7. Taking keyholder responsibilities, ensuring operational procedures are followed.

About you.

You will have leadership experience and be respected by peers, customers, the Store Manager – Hub, and Area Manager. Key capabilities include:

• The ability to train and guide store colleagues.
• You will be a motivator and an effective communicator in both 1:1 and group settings.
• Full training will be provided.
• Creating a positive in-store culture with a delivery mindset. You will be a great listener and attentive to the store's pulse.
• Keeping up to date with your own learning and development.
