Job summary

Zest Optical recruitment is working on behalf of a well-regarded independent opticians group to recruit a full-time Optical Practice Manager for its established practice in Eltham, South East London.

This is an excellent opportunity to lead a friendly team, shape day-to-day running and maintain a high standard of personalised patient care while driving practice performance. The role is 40 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday, with a salary up to £45,000 and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Established practice within an independent optical group.
• Hands-on leadership role with responsibility for team development and practice performance.
• Previous optical management experience required.
• FBDO qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day running of an established optical practice
• Lead, motivate and support the team to deliver excellent patient care
• Coach colleagues, identify training needs and encourage professional development
• Monitor practice performance and work towards agreed business objectives
• Manage stock, budgets and key performance indicators
• Ensure the practice meets professional and company standards
• Build strong patient relationships and maintain consistently high service standards
• Create a positive and collaborative working environment
• Full time, permanent position working five days and 40 hours per week
• Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 5.30pm

You will combine team leadership with commercial management, supporting colleagues to develop their skills while ensuring patients receive a welcoming, professional service throughout their visit.
