Our client is a startup focused on harnessing artificial intelligence to assist the visually impaired. They have developed an innovative, smart, wearable device with an intuitive interface to improve the daily lives of people with disabilities.

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join their team of successful Field Sales Managers. This full-time, permanent position is home-based with travel requirements.

Requirements
  • 3+ years’ experience in business development, field sales, customer success, or marketing; optician or optometrist background is a plus but not mandatory
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with good time management
  • Excellent customer service and telephone etiquette
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
  • Experience working with elderly and individuals with special needs
  • Technologically proficient, especially with Microsoft Office
Job Responsibilities
  • Drive business development and sales within the UK
  • Manage relationships with resellers, opticians, and clinics
  • Increase awareness in the low vision ecosystem through collaborations with assistive technology agencies and community organizations
  • Present and demonstrate the product to opticians and potential users
  • Participate in marketing activities, events, and trade shows
  • Provide training on device usage, benefits, and value proposition
  • Coordinate with team members, report activities, and participate in meetings and calls
Measurement of Success
  • Meet or exceed sales quotas monthly, quarterly, and annually
  • Receive positive feedback from partners and customers
