Job summary

Oxfordshire-based leader in optical technologies is seeking an Electronics Design Engineer to join a growing R&D team. You will work on PCB design, embedded firmware, and sensor integration in a hands-on role from day one.

Applicants should have a Masters or Bachelors in Electronics or Electrical Engineering and 3–5 years in industry, with experience in analogue/digital electronics and microcontrollers. UK resident required; sponsorship not offered.

Qualifications

• Masters or Bachelors in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• 3-5 years commercial experience in Electronics Design including PCB Design and Embedded Systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of electronic systems, PCBs and embedded firmware.
• Bench testing and integration of electronics into optical sensor systems.
• Occasional reverse engineering of third-party items.
