Job summary

Asda Opticians Sefton is seeking an Optical Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, lead a team of Optometrists and Optical assistants, and ensure exceptional patient care. You will manage clinics, drive compliance, and align targets with business goals while delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced retail setting.

With a fixed shift pattern, you will coordinate scheduling, training, and performance feedback in partnership with Home Office support and Area Managers to maximise results

Qualifications

• Fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the GOC.
• On track to meet CPD points.
• Confident in coaching others.
• Able to provide excellent customer and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the entire Optical department operation.
• Supervise the team of Optometrists and Optical assistants.
• Oversee compliance processes and procedures.
• Review sales forecasting and department targets; handle customer queries.
