HOYA Lens UK is seeking a reliable Production Operative to join the lens coating team. This hands-on role combines machine operation with manual tasks to support the production of high-quality optical lenses.

The position involves coating work, operating coating machinery, and performing routine maintenance while ensuring strict adherence to safety and quality standards. You will be part of a global leader in optical technology, with a supportive team environment and full training provided.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and accuracy in coating and inspection.

Responsibilities

• Coat optical lenses in line with quality standards.
• Operate and monitor coating machinery (about 20% of duties).
• Perform manual tasks on the production line (about 80% of duties).
• Inspect products for quality and accuracy.
• Complete daily/weekly/monthly cleaning tasks and checks.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and calibration.
