The role supports clinics, assists optometrists with diagnostics, and helps run pre- and post-operative clinics. It requires handling theatre duties, stock control, and maintaining Medisoft records in a patient‑focused environment.

• Proven ability to assist in day-to-day clinics and post-operative care.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to clinical governance principles.
• Assist optometrists with diagnostics during clinics.
• Support pre- and post-operative clinics for all patients.
• Act as theatre runner in busy theatre environments.
• Be proficient with company database Medisoft.
• Follow procedures for reporting accidents or incidents.
• Prepare areas and equipment before clinical activities.
• Ensure proper storage of equipment.
• Adhere to policies and procedures.
• Assist with stock control and maintain par levels.
• Manage diagnostic and theatre equipment daily.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
