Job summary

Specsavers Norge is seeking a proactive Optical Assistant to be the friendly face in our Chichester/Sainsburys locations. You’ll couple your customer service skills with passion for the Specsavers brand to create a welcoming store environment for customers and colleagues alike.

We offer training and development opportunities, a competitive salary up to £28,000 per year, and a range of employee benefits. Weekend work is included as part of a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Experience in optics business.
• Basic knowledge/experience of optical and/or Audiology terminology.

Responsibilities

• Be the friendly face in store and deliver excellent customer service.
• Support customers with optical products and services.
• Assist in dispensing and store operations as needed.

So, you're a proactive people person ready to be the friendly face our stores need? Sounds like you'd be a great fit here. So, if you've had previous optical experience as an Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant, this Optical Assistant role could be perfect for you.

As an Optical Assistant, you'll use your passion for the Specsavers brand, products and services alongside your incredible customer service skills, to create an outstanding store environment for both our customers and our team.

Our store

Based in the heart of Chichester, our Specsavers store is located on the bustling East Street, with a second branch inside Sainsburys on Westhampnett Road. Both locations have recently been refreshed and offer a modern, welcoming environment for customers and colleagues alike. With excellent public transport links, including Chichester train station just a short walk away and regular bus services to both sites-getting to work is easy and convenient.
