Job summary

Specsavers in Doncaster is offering an Optical Assistant Apprenticeship that lets you earn while you learn. You'll get daily on-the-job training and work across a store to become a Level 3 Optical Assistant.

Our apprenticeship gives people a chance to start an exciting career while earning a full-time wage. Duties include booking customers in for eye tests, pre-screening, recommending suitable frames. We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about providing great customer service and would like to pursue a career in optics.

• By giving customers top-notch advice (as well as a warm welcome to the store)
• Booking in eye tests
• Pre-screening patients and measuring frames
• You’ll also make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible by looking out for any little problems that crop-up

• Once you have completed the apprenticeship, you’ll be a fully qualified Level 3 Optical Assistant with a massive range of career options ahead of you

About the Training
