Job summary

Specsavers Leicester Gipsy Lane is offering an Optical Assistant Apprenticeship designed for people who enjoy helping customers and working in retail or optics.

The apprenticeship combines a full-time wage with comprehensive on-the-job training, typically 40 hours per week including weekends. You’ll gain experience in greeting customers, booking eye tests, patient pre-screening, style advice, and measuring frames as you build a career with Specsavers.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths grade 9-4 (A*-C) or equivalent.
• EU residency with the right to work in the UK for 3+ years.
• No prior experience in the Optical Sector is required.

Optical Assistant Apprenticeship

Who is this Apprenticeship for?

• Individuals with GSCE Maths at Grade 9-4 (A*-C), or an equivalent level qualification
• Individuals who have lived in the EU for 3 years or more, with the right to work in the UK
