Job summary

Specsavers Apprenticeship in Knowsley offers a paid 15-18 month pathway into Optical Assistant roles. Based in Huyton, you’ll learn on the job with a friendly, experienced team and earn a full-time wage throughout the program.

The role involves welcoming customers, booking eye tests, pre-screening patients, giving style advice, measuring frames and handling calls. Applicants should have GCSE Maths (9–4), have the right to work in the UK, and be prepared to travel to the store daily.

• GCSE Maths at grades 9–4 (A*–C) or equivalent.
• Right to work in the UK; EU residency rule indicates travel eligibility.

Your on-the-job training will sit alongside structured learning and at the end of the 15-18 months as an apprentice, you’ll be a fully-fledged Optical Assistant.

Who is this Apprenticeship for?
