Job summary

Specsavers in Clacton-on-Sea is looking for a caring Optical Assistant who is ready to welcome and help customers in a fast-paced environment. You’ll draw on previous optical experience to assist with eyewear and to support our team of Opticians and Technicians.

We offer strong training, development opportunities and a generous benefits package: up to £27,000 salary, 37.5 hours per week, in-store bonus up to £200 per month, 28 days holiday (birthday day off), Headspace access, staff discounts

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Prevous experience as an Optical Assistant / Dispensing Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and help customers as they walk through the store.
• Assist with eyewear selection, fittings and dispensing as needed.
• Support Opticians and Technicians in daily shop floor tasks.
