Job summary

Specsavers Southampton is looking for an Optical Assistant who can be the friendly face in store and help deliver excellent customer service. If you’ve had Optical experience as an Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant, you could be a great fit.

You’ll work with the team to support dispensing, guidance, and IT system use to enhance the customer journey. The role offers training and development opportunities, with potential progression into Management for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Previous Optical experience is required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced retail environment and on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with eyewear selection and fittings to create an outstanding store environment.
• Support dispensing tasks and use IT systems to manage orders and appointments.
• Contribute to team goals and participate in ongoing training and development.
