Seeking an Optical Assistant or similar to join a thriving team in Chesterfield, 3-5 days per week, with a base salary up to circa £22,000.

We are currently looking for an Optical Assistant or similar to join a successful practice in Chesterfield. As an Optical Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service, performing pre-screenings, and recommending suitable eyewear options.

Key Duties

• Take measurements and support patients with collections, ensuring fit, comfort, and accuracy of frames
• Provide excellent customer service, contributing to a positive customer journey and retail success
• Listen to patients, offer clear advice, explain product options and offers, and understand NHS procedures
• Dispense lenses (single vision, bifocal, varifocal)
• Perform pre-screening examinations and collaborate with the team in daily clinic operations
