Specsavers in Aberystwyth is seeking an Optical Assistant to warmly welcome customers, book eye tests and assist with pre-screening. You will work closely with experienced Opticians and Technicians while gaining extensive training and career development opportunities.

Located in aberystwyth, offers a fast-paced and exciting working environment, serving a diverse customer base from across the city and surrounding areas. The store benefits from excellent transport links, with regular bus services stopping nearby, making it easily accessible.

Our team

You’ll be joining a welcoming, experienced and supportive team who are passionate about delivering outstanding care and customer service. With a mix of optical professionals, customer service colleagues and management team members, there is always someone on hand to provide guidance and support. The team works collaboratively in a busy environment, creating a positive atmosphere where colleagues are encouraged to develop their skills, share knowledge and progress their careers. Whether you’re new to optics or bringing previous experience, you’ll be supported every step of the way as part of a friendly and motivated team.

What’s on offer?

• £12.91 per hour
• Full Time - 37.5 hours per week, to include weekend working
