Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital in Norwich is recruiting two locally employed doctors to work as an IMY3 in geriatrics within the Older People’s Medicine department (OPM). This fixed-term post covers a broad range of subspecialties including ortho-geriatrics, dementia and delirium, with outpatient services to reduce admissions.

Responsabilités

• Work across the OPM wards, OPM outliers and post take ward rounds of OPM Patients in AMU.
• Ensure patients are assessed and reviewed on the OPM wards as part of consultant rounds or individually.
• Communicate with patients' relatives and supervise junior medical colleagues.
• Keep accurate patient records with dates and signatures; ensure they are easily identifiable.
• Produce timely discharge letters with diagnoses; supervise junior staff in their production.
